Veterans Drive Held Through November At Lemont Library

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Library will collect supplies for veterans at the library through November. The veterans drive began at the beginning of the month.

The veterans drive, Helping Vets on the Homefront, will collect donations to assist veterans at the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, according to the library newsletter.

Accepted supplies include: shaving cream, mouthwash, dental floss, razors, disposable face masks, sunscreen, bar soap, men's shampoo and body wash, sheets for queen bed, bath towels, trash bags, men's and women's underwear, disinfectant spray, disinfectant wipes, dish soap, toilet bowl cleaner, shower curtains, laundry pods, women's camisoles, glass cleaner, brooms, mops, pots and pans, and paper napkins.
