Village Revokes Golden Spa's Business License
The business can no longer do business in Lemont, the mayor said.
LEMONT, IL — After an employee at the Golden Spa in Lemont was charged with prostitution, the village has revoked the spa's business license. The business' license had been temporarily suspended after the employee was charged.
"We revoked this under the nuisance abatement [program], and we heard rumors of activity going on there," Mayor John Egofske said at the Sept. 9 village board meeting. "We swiftly were able to revoke their license. They no longer can do, or will do, business in Lemont."
Egofske thanked Chief Marc Maton and the Lemont Police Department for its work in the arrest of the employee.

The Golden Spa was located at 184 E. Wend St.
