Village Seeking Entries for St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Village of Lemont is looking for residents, organizations, and local groups interested in going green for Lemont’s St. Patrick’s Day parade.

The parade will be held March 7, and will step off at 1 p.m. from Lemont Safety Village on Stephen Street. From there, it will head south on Stephen to Main, then west to Lemont VFW Hall. The parade will feature Lemont’s own Irish Queen, The Chicago Stockyard Kilty Band, Hughes Academy of Irish Dance. Free parking will be available at the Metra Lot or the downtown parking garage.

Live entertainment and refreshments post-parade at the Lemont VFW, 15780 New Ave., from 3 to 5 p.m.
