Volunteer At Keepataw Preserve In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — The Forest Preserve District of Will County will hold a volunteer morning on Sept. 22 at Keepataw Preserve, on Bluff Road, east of Joliet Road.
The event will run from 8 a.m. to noon, and is for those ages 10 and older. If you're younger than 16, you must be accompanied by an adult.
An RSVP is required; you can contact Emily Kenny at ekenny@fpdwc.org to reserve a spot. If you haven't volunteered before, you must also complete a waiver online.

Participants should dress for outdoor work, and work will take place on uneven terrain, according to the preserve. Volunteer activities will include brush control.
