This month The Network of Entrepreneurial Women is mixing up our Wine Women and Wellness with a WEDNESDAY evening date. We will be networking as we peruse the fabulous Lemont Legends Cruise Night, featuring Emergency Vehicles.

Every year, the village of Lemont puts on Lemont Legends
 Cruise Nights, a showcase of vintage cars that is bound to evoke nostalgia and wow spectators with the variety of shiny, carefully maintained historic vehicles.

We will gather at Aurora Rose Boutique to mingle, shop and network, and around 6:30 will begin meandering the downtown area that will be swarming with state troopers, police officers, emergency medical technicians and SWAT team members.

We encourage you to bring your family members as this is bound to be a fun summer memory to make. Owned by mother-daughter team Kim and Amber Peters, Aurora Rose offers hand-made gift items for the whole family, including soaps, lotions, candles, jewelry(including Maike’s Maraviglia) baby blankets, jewelry, fairy dolls, parasols, wall art, hair adornments, children’s clothes, stuffed animals, quirky decorative items, handbags, doll clothes, tea, food accoutrements and more.

Please note that this event has a RAIN DATE of 8/27. We will however keep our NEW networking date on the 20th.

The free event is held every Wednesday Night in Downtown Lemont from June 4, 2014 – August 27, 2014. Each week a different car is featured and three Cool Car Trophies are awarded, but Aurora Rose proprietress Kim Peters and Co-Founder Maike agree that Emergency Vehicle Night is the most impressive.

There are public parking lots off Talcott Avenue North of Aurora Rose. You may also want to peruse street parking on Illinois Street. Main and Canal Streets will be closed to traffic for the vehicle showcase, but Stephen Street is accessible.

The Lemont Legends Cruise Nights is recognized as one of the largest and best car shows in the area. This event attracts hundreds of visitors and participants to Downtown Lemont every Wednesday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. This event features a DJ every week, a food court, and raffles.
