3 DUI Arrests Made in Recent Weeks In Libertyville

The Libertyville Police Department pulled over drivers and arrested three for drunken driving on July 27, according to police reports.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Libertyville Police Department officers pulled over and arrested three drivers for driving under the influence in recent weeks. Here is a look at the DUI arrests made by local officers:

July 21: DUI

Authorities pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding and driving erratically on Peterson Road at Des Plaines Drive at 1:33 a.m. on July 21. The driver, Andrea McKinley, 22, allegedly failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for driving under the influence. McKinley, of the 300 block of Harding Avenue, was arrested for driving under the influence .08 or more, improper lane usage and speeding.

She was released after signing a $1,000 personal recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Aug. 9.

July 27: DUI

A 26-year-old Round Lake woman was arrested for drunken driving after being pulled over on Peterson Road and Torrey Parkway in Libertyville. Authorities say her vehicle was pulled over for speeding in the westbound lanes of Peterson Road at 2:43 a.m. on July 27.

Amber Davis, 26, of the 2200 block of West Bentley Lane in Round Lake, allegedly failed field sobriety tests and was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and speeding.

She was released after posting her driver’s license and signing a $1,000 personal recognizance bond. She is next expected in court on Aug. 30.

July 27: DUI

A Libertyville man was pulled over in his driveway for drunken driving after a Libertyville police officer saw him driving in the wrong lane of traffic on East Rockland Road, authorities said. Brent Koch, of the 500 block of East Rockland Road, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage. Police officers allegedly saw Koch swerving his vehicle and traveling east in the westbound lanes of traffic, according to a police report.

Koch then allegedly signaled for a right-hand turn and swerved back into the correct lane before turning in his driveway.

Koch allegedly failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody, according to the police report. Koch was processed, cited and released after signing a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Aug. 16.
