5 Charged With Public Intoxication Following Slapping Incident
In addition, a man accused of slapping another person has been charged with battery.

Four people who called police to report one member from their group had been slapped by a homeless man, were in turn slapped with charges for public intoxication.
Police were called to 200 Lake Street at 5:35 p.m. on Sept. 24 where they found five drunk people, police said. One person wanted to press charges against Steven M. Piorello, 50, who allegedly slapped one of the others in the face, according to a Libertyville Police Department report.
Officers smelled alcohol on all five and they admitted to drinking and to being under the influence of alcohol.
