Adler Center Early Childhood Classes: Developing Kindness, Compassion & Confidence through Music
Join the Adler Center for a FREE demonstration class in October or November. Meet new friends, learn new songs!
Babies, toddlers, and pre-school kids have a new place to play, meet friends, and explore music with their caregivers. The Adler Center’s new Prelude Program (newborn – age 5) develops musical skills while teaching kindness, compassion, and confidence through music.
Research suggests that the first few months of your child's life are the most critical when it comes to musical development. In the first 5 years, every moment is an opportunity for children to learn more about the world around them, to practice social skills, and to gain critical thinking skills and knowledge.
The Prelude Program
The Adler Center’s Prelude Program features drop-in demonstration classes where ages 0 – 5 can play instruments, sing songs, learn new lullabies, and enjoy making music with new friends. Build important social/emotional and language skills while inspiring a lifelong love of music in your little one. Register for a demonstration class today—all demonstration classes are free!

Suzuki FUNdamentals
Very young musicians, ages 3 -6, may also register for Suzuki FUNdamentals, a nurturing and warm violin class based on the Suzuki philosophy that all children should be able to learn music in an encouraging and positive environment. Begin Suzuki lessons in a small group setting (4-6 students). Upon completion of the class, students are ready to advance to private lessons. Parents attend classes and supervise home practice. Begins December 1. Fridays, from 3:30 – 4:15pm.
