Health & Fitness

Attention Coaches, Parents & Athletes

Dr. Jordan has become S.A.F.E. certified through PowerPlay!  What does this mean to you?

It is the desire of S.A.F.E. certified doctors to make sports safe from the first time our young kids hit the field running to the high school, college level and beyond. The S.A.F.E Community Workshops address those health and safety needs very simply and effectively.

These workshops have been designed through years of researching and presenting evidence based content by Dr. Baron, Dr. Greenstein and Dr. Sokoloff.  Through this certification Dr. Jordan Leasure is now able to provide critical education in concussion, athletic injury prevention, dehydration and sports nutrition.

The goal is to improve the public health, specifically the youth athlete by providing education that help our kids heal faster, prevent future injuries, and maximize sports performance. There are many instances that our coaches and parents are not sure how to assess a need and make the right decision for a child that is injured or ill.

We are teaching coaches and parents who to contact, and when and how to manage any unfortunate situation with confidence.  Medical professionals are not always around, therefore, we want to train your staff and parents to feel comfortable when they are the go-to decision maker.

We are offering these workshops FREE of charge as a public service to provide the latest research that can apply to any sport or team.  Our next workshop on Dehydration and Heat Related Conditions for your athletes is THURSDAY JULY 3rd, 12:30-1:00pm at our office located at 112 W. Lake Street, Libertyville IL 60048.

You must RSVP HERE to receive a certificate of completion following the course.

If you cannot make this workshop, but are interested in having Dr. Jordan Leasure speak to your team, coaches or trainers, please contact our office at 847-362-4476, or email us at info@drleasure.com

Let us all do our part to keep are kids safe this summer during their sports!
