Casey Urlacher Files For Illinois State Senate
2,500 Republicans Sign Up To Put Casey On The Ballot

SPRINGFIELD — Seeking to help Governor Rauner lead the State of Illinois from its fiscal crisis, Mettawa Mayor Casey Urlacher filed the nomination petitions necessary to be a candidate for the Illinois State Senate early this week.
“Our volunteers gathered over 2,500 signatures of Republican voters excited about reforming our state government,” said Urlacher. “It is very clear that Republicans in our communities want a candidate who is not part of Illinois’s broken government and they want someone who will expand the base of the Republican Party in northern Illinois.”
Casey Urlacher is seeking to fill the position of retiring 26th District State Senator Dan Duffy, who announced earlier this year that he would not run for re-election.
