Ding Dong Merrily will be the theme for the 2013 Holiday Concerts presented by the Red Rose Children's Choir of Lake County. The concerts will be at 2:00 and 4:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville. The choir gives their gift of music to the community each year. Donations are accepted at the door.
This year the choir has added a Bell Choir under the direction of a Red Rose Alum, Beth Malecha. Beth is a graduate of LHS and Augustana. The Bell Choir will accompany the choir on several pieces.
The choirs will sing a variety of music mostly based on English, Welsh, and Irish carols. The 2 p.m. concert will feature all four choirs. The 4:30 p.m. concert will feature the two older choirs.
