DUI Driver Charged After Car Crashes In Yard
The collision happened last month in the area of Nordic Court and Crane Boulevard in Libertyville, authorities said.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A woman faces drunken driving charges after a crash that lead to one vehicle running into a tree outside a Libertyville home, authorities said. The crash happened at 9:01 p.m. on Sept. 25 in the area of Crane Boulevard and Nordic Court.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a van parked on the street with severe rear end damage and another vehicle on a resident's lawn, up against a tree, according to a Libertyville Police Department report.
Nipper showed multiple signs of intoxication and was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed, according to police. She was placed under arrest and taken to the Libertyville Police Department.

She has been charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence BAC .08 or more, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
She is next expected in court on Oct. 18.
