Erratic Driver During Morning Rush Arrested for DUI: Police
The Grayslake woman faces DUI charges following the July 8 incident, police said.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A 62-year-old Grayslake woman was arrested for drunken driving earlier this month after she drove off eastbound Peterson Road in Libertyville, into a ditch, back onto the road and across lanes of traffic during the morning rush hour, police said. LynMarie Moore, of the 300 block of Neville Drive, is charged with driving under the influence aggravated, driving under the influence aggravated .08 or more, improper lane usage and no valid driver's license following the incident on July 8. At 9:44 a.m. on that date, authorities were called to the area where the alleged traffic violations occurred after receiving a complaint of a vehicle driving erratically, according to the police report.
Officer pulled the vehicle over and noticed the driver showing signs of impairment, police said. The driver, LynMarie Moore, agreed to complete field sobriety tests, which she failed, according to the police report.
Moore was arrested and taken to the Lake County Jail to await a bond hearing, police said.
