This course is designed to teach you the knowledge and psychomotor skills you need to recognize emergencies and give first aid. The first aid section covers general principles, medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies. Successful completion requires passing a written and skills evaluation. A course completion card is issued for this course with re-certification every two years. A material fee of $17.75 is included in the tuition. The book will be provided by the instructor at class. This is not a health care provider certification. No discounts or vouchers. Tuition: $39. Class meets 6:30–8:30 PM on Wednesday, October 21, at Libertyville High School. Registration is required.
