LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A Florida man is facing charges of driving under the influence after being found drunk behind the wheel in a gas station parking lot, police say. Phillip Grunfeld, 35, of Clearwater, Florida, was found asleep, the report says.
The Libertyville Review reported police as saying they responded to the gas station in the 100 block of West Park Avenue at 1:53 a.m. on Sept. 30 on a suspicious vehicle report.
Police found Grunfeld asleep in the driver's seat with the key in the ignition and the car running, the report says. He later admitted to having had too much to drink, according to the Review, and failed sobriety tests.
