Fox Lake Teen Missing Since Sunday

It is believed she took a Lyft ride to the Gurnee area after leaving her home on Sunday evening, family members said.

FOX LAKE, IL – A 15-year-old Fox Lake girl has been missing since Sunday evening and her family is asking for the public's help to bring her back home. Authorities believe Sydney Weber took a Lyft ride to the Gurnee area after leaving her home around 6 p.m. on Sunday, according to a Facebook post from Weber's mother. She was dropped off at a Dunkin' Donuts.

Authorities originally believed she was dropped off at the Dunkin' Donuts across from Six Flags Great America but her mother wrote in a Facebook post Wednesday evening that it was a different Dunkin' Donuts location. She did not specify which Dunkin' Donuts.

Sydney texted a friend Monday morning to let her know she was fine and "living life," according to the Facebook post. Her mother said she may be in the Chicago area since "she loves the city."
