Gurnee Girl, 13, Is Missing
Alexandra Kobus has been reported missing in the past and was again reported missing Thursday. Her family is asking for the public's help.

LAKE COUNTY, IL -- A Lake County teen is again missing and her family is asking for the public's help in tracking her down. The Lake County Sheriff's Office issued a missing youth alert on its Facebook page Thursday evening regarding Alexandra Kobus. Kobus, 13, was last seen leaving the Walmart in Gurnee at about 4:45 a.m. on Thursday, according to the Facebook post.
Kobus is 5-feet 8-inches tall, about 170 pounds and has light brown/red hair and brown eyes. Kobus was last seen wearing a black/white Adidas jacket, a red Bulls shirt, ripped jeans, and black/white Nike shoes. She had a brown Michael Kors backpack.
Authorities shared a surveillance video photo of Kobus from the Walmart where she was last spotted before her disappearance. Police originally thought the second woman pictured in the surveillance footage knew Kobus, and that the two left together, but they later learned the woman was not related to the incident.
