Gurnee Man Critically Injured In Single-Vehicle Crash

WADSWORTH, IL — Authorities believe an 83-year-old Gurnee man may have suffered from a medical episode prior to driving off the roadway in the 39500 block of North Dilleys Road in Wadsworth Monday evening and colliding with several trees and a fence.

The man was critically injured in the collision, which happened at about 6:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office. He was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
