Intoxicated Woman Charged After She Spits on Security Guard at Hospital: Police
The 24-year-old Deerfield woman has been charged with battery.
A 24-year-old Deerfield woman has been charged with battery after she allegedly spit on a security guard at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville last month.
Rebecca K. Thomas was brought to the hospital on Nov. 15 due to her level of intoxication, according to a Libertyville Police Department report. During an attempt to leave the hospital against medical orders, she spit on a security guard.
On Dec. 2, Thomas presented herself at the Libertyville Police Department where she was issued a local ordinance citation for battery, according to a police report.
