The Language of Flowers
Learn how flowers and their colors have different emotional impacts.
In the Victorian Era fans and flowers were used to communicate desires, affections and many other emotions. This class will fill your head with the many emotions communicated in bouquets and arrangements during Victorian times as well as discussing the culture and history of these techniques. We will use our new knowledge to translate a couple of flower bouquets before we leave. We will also have some fun with fans! Material fee of $7.00 is included in the tuition. Gold Card Fee: $19.50. Tuition: $29. Class meets Thursday 7:00–9:00 PM September 24, at Vernon Hills High School. Registration is required.
