Libertyville Approves Fines for Fighters, Sets New Curfew Rules

LIBERTYVILLE, IL - The Libertyville Village Board has approved revisions to ordinances that could allow police to issue up to a $500 fine for people who get in fights and that set stricter standards for curfew violators, according to the Libertyville Review.
The changes, which include fines of $15 to $500 for those caught fighting; a change in the curfew ordinance that lowers the age restriction; and another change to the curfew ordinance that no longer requires officers to give a warning on a first offense, according to the article.
