Libertyville Blotter: DUIs, False Police Report
The Libertyville Police Department made the following arrests in recent weeks.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Here is a look at the most recent arrests made by the Libertyville Police Department.
Dec. 3: A Libertyville Police Department officer pulled over a vehicle that was headed south in the 400 block of South Milwaukee Avenue without its taillights illuminated and also "made a lane violation" at about 12 p.m. on Dec. 3. Police say the driver, Marcin Dabrowski, 44, showed multiple signs of impairment and was arrested based on the results of field sobriety tests. He was taken into custody and released after signing a personal recognizance bond. He is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence BAC over .08 and driving without lights when required. He is next expected in court on Jan. 7.
Dec. 7: A 72-year-old woman was taken into custody on drunken driving charges following a two-vehicle crash at South Milwaukee Avenue and South Artaius Parkway at about 7:15 p.m. on Dec. 7. Christina Diver, of the 1600 block of N. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville, was arrested after police observed multiple signs of impairment and based on results from field sobriety tests, according to the police report. She was taken to the Libertyville Police Department where she was cited and then released on a personal recognizance bond. She is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and is next expected in court on Jan. 7.

Dec. 12: Officers pulled over a 32-year-old Beach Park woman who was traveling north in the 1500 block of North Milwaukee Avenue at about 2 a.m. on Dec. 12. Denise Y. Mendoza, of the 39600 block of Lynsee Court in Beach Park, faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. Authorities say she showed multiple signs of impairment and was arrested based on the results of field sobriety tests. She was taken to the Libertyville Police Department and was later released on a personal recognizance bond. She is next expected in court on Jan. 14.
Jan. 14: A 55-year-old Libertyville man wanted on a warrant was taken into custody after a Libertyville officer spotted him walking in the area of the 1100 block of South Milwaukee Avenue. Police say they recognized the man, Gregory Baldwin, and knew he had an active arrest warrant out of Lake County and that he was also being investigated by Libertyville police regarding a false police report. Baldwin, of the 800 block of N. Milwaukee Avenue, was arrested on the warrant and taken to the Libertyville Police Department. He spoke with an investigator while at the police department and a disorderly conduct charge was filed regarding accusations over the false police report. Baldwin attended a remote bond hearing and was released on a personal recognizance bond. He is next expected in court on Jan. 5.
