Libertyville High To Add 69 Parking Spaces
The additional spaces will make enough room for all seniors to park on campus.

Community High School District 128 will be adding 69 additional parking spaces at Libertyville High School by mid-2019. School officials worked with the village of Libertyville and adjacent neighbors to come up with a plan to add the spaces, according to a news release. That plan was unanimously approved by the Libertyville Village Board on Tuesday.
When completed, the project will allow all Libertyville High School seniors to park on campus. The parking spaces are expected to be in place in early spring of 2019.

In addition to constructing the 69 new parking spaces on campus, the approved plan also includes fencing and landscaping to provide adequate screening between the school and neighbors on the west side of the campus. The project is estimated to cost approximately $750,00. The estimate includes the cost of the parking spaces, landscaping and fence, and will be paid from the district's reserves.
