LIBERTYVILLE, IL—A Chicago-area man has been charged with retail theft after police say he recently tried to steal several bags of groceries from a Libertyville store.
The Libertyville Police Department said the crime occurred on April 8 shortly after 5 p.m. at Jewel-Osco, which is located at 1300 South Milwaukee Ave.
