Libertyville Police Seek Liquor Shop Armed Robbers
Three people are accused of taking part in an armed robbery at Parkside Liquors on Thursday night in Libertyville.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — The Libertyville Police Department is asking for the public's help as they search for two accused of holding up a liquor store in Libertyville last week. Police say a man entered Parkside Liquors at 723 N. Milwaukee Avenue at about 10 p.m. on Thursday, took a handgun out of his bag and pointed it at an employee.
He then took money from the cash register. A woman, who went into the liquor store with the man and remained by the door, left the store with him and got into a dark-colored four-door sedan, according to a news release from the Libertyville Police Department.

The car, which had a driver inside, was last seen heading south on Milwaukee Avenue.
No one was injured in the robbery, authorities said.

The man involved in the robbery is described as a black male in his mid-20s who is about 5-feet, 8 inches tall with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a blue-hooded sweatshirt, a dark-colored bandanna over his face, black pants with a white stripe down the legs and black shoes.
The woman is described as a black female in her early 20s and about 5 feet tall with thin build. She was last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, black-zippered coat, medical-style facemask, black pants and black shoes.
The armed robbery remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the armed robbers or the robbery are asked to call the Libertyville Police Department's non-emergency number at 847-361-8310.
