Libertyville Police Seek Tips In Car Burglaries

Anyone with information regarding a recent string of car burglaries are asking to call the police department.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — The Libertyville Police Department is asking for the public's help as they investigate a recent string of burglaries to motor vehicles.

Police say three vehicles were burglarized at some point on the night of Nov. 6 or during the morning hours of Nov. 7, according to a Libertyville Police Department report.

The culprit, or culprits, took a wallet from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of North Butterfield Road, a purse and backpack from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of North Butterfield Road and a purse from an unlocked vehicle in the 1600 block of Old Barn Circle. All vehicles were parked in driveways at the time of the incidents, police say.
