Libertyville Sets Trick-or-Treating Hours for This Halloween

It’s almost that time of year again.

Halloween is right around the corner and trick-or-treating hours have been set for 4 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31 in Libertyville.

Local police departments offer the following tips for staying safe this Halloween:

• Only “trick or treat” in neighborhoods and houses you are familiar with
• ”Trick or treat” in groups or with parents/guardians
• Do not wear costumes that obstruct your vision or are tripping hazards
• Only cross the street at intersections and be watchful of road traffic
• Do not enter a home to receive a treat
• Accept only wrapped or sealed treats
