Libertyville High School's Simone Mikaelian will be competing this weekend at the AA state girls golf tournament at Hickory Point Golf Club in Decatur
Mikaelian shot a 77 at the Buffalo Grove sectional—equaling the fourth-lowest score shot at the sectional.
The two-round state tournament will takes place Friday and Saturday. Friday's first-round tee times are set. Mikaelian ill begin on the back nine at 10:27 a.m. in a group with Metea Valley sophomore Niquole Mangal, Maine South junior Leia Atas and De La Salle senior Emily Brown.
