Man Accused Of Hitting Condell Staff Members

The 21-year-old Mundelein man hit two staff members while receiving treatment in the emergency room last weekend, police said.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A 21-year-old Mundelein man faces battery charges for accusations he hit two staff members at Condell Medical Center last weekend in Libertyville.

Quincy P. Johnson, of the 300 block of Midway Drive in Libertyville, was taken into custody following the incident that happened at about 12:10 a.m. on Aug. 20 in the emergency room at the hospital, 801 S. Milwaukee Avenue, according to a report from the Libertyville Police Department.

Officers responded to the medical center and met with medical staff where they learned Johnson hit two staff members. After he received the medical care he needed, police arrested him and took him to the Libertyville Police Department where he was charged with two counts of battery, according to a police report.

Johnson was released from custody on a personal recognizance bond. He is next expected in court on Sept. 14.
