Man Charged With Battery of Bartender After He is Refused More Alcohol: Police
He also broke the bottles of alcohol and drink glasses of customers at the Libertyville bar, police said.

A 27-year-old Zion man who a bartender refused to serve more alcohol to jumped over the bar of a Libertyville establishment and began breaking customers glasses and bottles during an incident earlier this month, police said.
Jose B. Alarcon, of 2709 Elim Avenue, is charged with criminal damage to property, battery and disorderly conduct in connection with the disturbance at Austin’s Saloon & Eatery, 481 Peterson Road, at about 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 2.
Police said Alarcon became upset when he was told he would not be served additional alcohol due to his level of intoxication. He jumped the bar, grabbed the bartender and proceeded to break bottles of alcohol and then drink glasses of those at the bar, according to a Libertyville Police Department police report.

When Libertyville police arrived at Austin’s Saloon, Alarcon was being physically restrained by two security officers.
Alarcon was arrested, taken into custody and later released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond. He is next expected in court on Nov. 18.
