Man Choked Security Officer At Condell: Police
The 35-year-old Mount Prospect man has been charged with battery following the incident last month at Advocate Condell Medical Center.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A 35-year-old Mount Prospect man faces a battery charge for accusations he choked a security officer at Advocate Condell Medical Center last month, police said.
The incident occurred at about 10:50 p.m. on Dec. 22 while Jose E. Roldan Vazquez, of North Aber Street in Mount Prospect, was a patient at the hospital. Police were initially called to the medical center at 801 S. Milwaukee Avenue for a report of a patient who had become violent with staff.
When officers arrived at the hospital, Condell staff told police Roldan Vazquez choked a security officer, according to a police report from the Libertyville Police Department.

Roldan Vazquez was arrested and later released after signing a personal recognizance bond. He's been charged with battery and is next expected in court on Jan. 12.
