Man, Woman Found Dead In Garage In Beach Park

BEACH PARK, IL — An investigation is underway after a man and woman were found dead in a garage in Beach Park, authorities said Wednesday. Authorities were called to the home in the 10000 block of Wadsworth Road at about 9:40 a.m. where they found the bodies of the 49-year-old woman and 52-year-old man.

Both appeared to have gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

The sheriff's office has launched an investigation into the deaths and detectives are working to determine the circumstances that lead to the incident, authorities said. The Lake County Coroner's Office is expected to complete autopsies on the man and woman on Thursday.
