Police Find Cocaine, PCP In Car During Traffic Stop: Police
A Long Grove man was taken into custody after police allegedly first found cocaine on him and then found more cocaine and PCP in his car.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL – A Long Grove man faces drug charges after authorities pulled him over in Libertyville and found a vial of PCP and cocaine in his car, police said. Alejandro Casillas, 54, of 8137 S. Boulder Court in Long Grove, was stopped by Libertyville officers on Milwaukee Avenue near Lincoln Avenue at 12:40 a.m. on March 17 after a records check on his vehicle allegedly reveled a suspended registration for a mandatory insurance violation. Since he could not drive his car, Casillas called a family member to pick him up, according to a police report from the Libertyville Police Department.
Before being allowed to wait in the squad car, police searched Casillas and found cocaine on him and took him into custody. Officers found more cocaine and a vial of PCP during a search of his vehicle, according to the police report.
Casillas admitted he had smoked the cocaine between the time of his arrest and 5 p.m. While being interviewed by police, Casillas grabbed his chest in pain.

Paramedics were called and Casillas was admitted to Condell Hospital. Two days later, Casillas was released from the hospital and was processed at the Libertyville Police Department before being released.
Casillas is charged with driving under the influence of drugs, unlawful possession of a controlled substance-cocaine, unlawful possession of a controlled substance - PCP and operating a vehicle when registration is suspended no insurance.

He is next expected in court on May 11.
