LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police.   • James Sula, 64, of the 600 block of Sunnyside Avenue, Gurnee, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 16 at Route 173 and Kilbourne Road, Unincorporated Zion. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of Sept. 22.
  • Walter T. Thomas, 39, of the 1800 block of Morrow Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 16 in the 38600 block of N Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of Oct. 6.
  • Zachary Dixon, 28, of Shawnee, Kansas, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 29 at Route 83 and Maple Avenue, Unincorporated Mundelein. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of Sept. 27.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY

  • Scott Sewell, 37, of Trevor, Wisconsin, is accused of aggravated battery, and was arrested Aug. 17 at the Lake County Jail. He is being held there on other charges and was assigned a court date of Aug. 31.
  • Anthony G. Mijares, 26, of the 26300 block of N Oak Avenue, Unincorporated Mundelein, is accused of aggravated battery to a peace officer, aggravated battery to a correctional officer, battery, resisting arrest, and was arrested Aug. 20 in the 19000 block of W Lake View Avenue, Unincorporated Mundelein. His bond was set at $30,000 and he was assigned a court date of Aug. 24.

  • Lester L. Jackson, 44, of the 2200 block of Lewis Avenue, Zion, is accused of aggravated driving while license revoked, obstructing identification, open transportation of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Aug. 18 at Geraghty and Bairstow avenues, Beach Park. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of Sept. 13.
  • Chikita L. Tuwiler, 31, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested Aug. 22 at Route 53 and Lake Cook Road, Long Grove. Bond was set at $2,000.

LEAVING THE SCENE OF A CRASH

Jessica M. Draper, 30, of the 27400 block of Volo Village Road, Volo, is accused of leaving the scene of a crash, no driver's license, no insurance, having a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested Aug. 19 at Route 83 and Engle Drive, Unincorporated Lake Villa. Her bond was set at $50,000 and she was assigned a court date of Sept. 14.

VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Michelle A. Krofel, 50, of the 1000 block of Safford Avenue, Lake Bluff, is accused of violation of an order of protection, and was arrested Aug. 19 in the 400 block of Birch Avenue, Unincorporated Lake Bluff. Her bond was set at $20,000 and she was assigned a court date of Aug. 25.

VIOLATION OF PROBATION

Kristen M. Tindall, 40, of the 100 block of S 10th Street, Herrin, is accused of having a warrant for violation of probation from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, and was arrested Aug. 19 in the 12700 block of Graves Avenue, Beach Park. Her bond was set at $250,000 and she was assigned a court date of Aug. 25.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WITH INTENT TO DELIVER

Ricardo O. Aguilar, 23, of the 900 block of Buck Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of having a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, along with a new charge of resisting a peace officer, and was arrested Aug. 19 at Chestnut Street and Montesano Avenue, Waukegan. His bond was set at $100,000 and he was assigned a court date of Aug. 25.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Quinn T. Rundall, 22, of the 19300 block of W Forest Lane, Unincorporated Mundelein, is accused of criminal damage to property, and was arrested Aug. 20 in Unincorporated Mundelein. His bond was set at $1,500 and he was assigned a court date of Sept. 15.

OPERATING WATERCRAFT UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Alan J. Hanke, 57, of the 4100 block of Wyndwood Drive, Crystal Lake, is accused of operating watercraft under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 20 at Nippersink Lake. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of Sept. 22.
  • Karen L. Dodge, 53, of the 300 block of Sand Pebble Lane, Aurora, is accused of operating watercraft under the influence, and was arrested Aug. 22 at Fox Lake. Her bond was set at $3,000 and she was assigned a court date of Oct. 6.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

Jeffrey M. Miller, 50, of the 600 block of Oak Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of having a warrant for no driver's license out of McHenry County, and was arrested Aug. 22 in the 38600 block of W Millburn Road, Old Mill Creek. His bond was set at $1,500 and a court date was to be determined in McHenry County at the time of the report.

RETAIL THEFT

Joclyn E. Hall, 25, of the 1500 block of Melrose Avenue, Round Lake Beach, is accused of having a warrant out of McHenry County for retail theft, and was arrested Aug. 22 at N Lake Sore Drive and Grass Lake Road, Unincorporated Spring Grove. Her bond was set at $5,000 and a court date was to be determined in McHenry County at the time of the report.
