Father Robert Barron, Rector of Mundelein Seminary/University of St. Mary of the Lake, is scheduled to make a pastoral visit to Lake County Jail on Wednesday February 19, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Lake County Jail inmates will have the opportunity to visit and pray with him individually or in small groups.
Father Barron organized the creation of the non-profit organization “Word on Fire Catholic Ministries” which is broadcast regularly on WGN. He is the first priest since the 1950s to have a program on television. Cardinal George calls Father Barron “one of the Church’s best messengers.”
