This class is intended for beginners with little or no hot shop experience. Class meets for up to three hours in this hands-on class concentrating on making four paperweights using various processes and colors. Students will leave with a better appreciation for working with hot glass. Students must be 18 years of age or older for safety and liability reasons. Students should wear a long-sleeved cotton shirt, closed-toe shoes, and bring a pair of sunglasses. Students will need to return to pick up their paperweights three days after class to allow for cooling time. Peter Patterson Glassworks is located at 888 Tower Road, #E, Mundelein. No discounts or vouchers. Tuition: $100. Class meets 6:00–9:00 PM on Monday, October 5, at Peter Patterson Glass Works. Registration is required.
