Teen Arrested For Shooting Paintballs At Cars: Police
He also allegedly used a paintball gun to shoot at signs in Libertyville, police said.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL -- A 19-year-old Libertyville man was arrested last month for allegedly using a paintball gun to shoot at signs and vehicles in town, police said. Kyle J. Ranallo, of the 1000 block of Mayfair Drive, was arrested on Aug. 25. Authorities learned of the paintball incidents after receiving a report of someone who had shot at signs and vehicles in the area of Downs Parkway and Red Top Drive at 7:35 p.m., according to a Libertyville Police Department report.
A total of six signs and two vehicles were struck by paint balls, authorities said.
Authorities received a description of the suspect vehicle involved and located the red pickup truck in the 1000 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, according to the police report.

Officers found paintball equipment and "evidence of paintball use" in the vehicle. Police said Ranallo admitted to being responsible for the paintball damage.
Ranallo was arrested and cited for criminal defacement of property. He was later released on a a $120 personal recognizance bond.

He is next expected in court on Sept. 19.
