Utility Van Crashes Into Gurnee Apartment Building

GURNEE, IL – No one was injured Sunday when a utility van crashed into a multi-family residential building in Gurnee following a two-vehicle collision, the Lake County News-Sun report. Authorities said the force of the crash at Ferndale Street and Route 41 sent one of the vehicles careening toward and then colliding into the apartment nearby at 1100 Ferndale Street. No one was home at the residence at the time, according to the report.
