Village Approves $14,000 Change Order for West Parking Lot Project
The change order covers costs to clean up the second soil contamination and extra working hours in Libertyville.

Village trustees approved a change order of $14,413 to cover costs for cleaning up the second soil contamination and additional work in the lot behind and Milwaukee Avenue.
Aldridge Electric, which has been working relocating utilities in Libertyville's west parking lot, .
The soil had to be disposed of in an environmentally correct manner, resulting in additional work for Aldridge Electric that was not part of .

The change order also covers:
- Two additional hand-hole structures that were added to accommodate existing underground conduit that varied from the plans;
- Time working around two unforeseen concrete structures;
- Repair of a broken water service line.
Tax increment financing district funds will be used to cover the change order.
