Village Officials Sound Off On Liberty Theater Project
In an informal session, the village's board of trustees heard from the architect working on the project.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL â Village officials heard this past week from the architect working on a redevelopment project that could bring apartments, restaurants and shops to two new buildings and the shuttered Liberty Theater in downtown Libertyville.
The informal session Tuesday at village hall was the first step toward making the project a reality. But village trustees say they will need to see a lot of give-and-take from the developer before moving forward, according to the Daily Herald.
Among the issues cited that would need to be addressed include the appearance of the buildings, traffic flow, parking and the use of an adjoining village-owned property for the development, the Daily Herald is reporting.
