Village Seeks Input For Riverside Park Improvements
Residents can take an online survey to share ideas for future park amenities.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Village officials are asking residents to share their ideas for improvements at Riverside Park, located at 700 Riverside Drive in Libertyville, as part of a new master planning effort.
An online survey is designed to help the village understand which amenities and uses residents would like considered for the park’s future development.
The master plan is a conceptual guide, often used to pursue grant funding and plan future construction, and not all improvements are possible due to the park’s proximity to the Des Plaines River and its designation as a floodway, village officials said. Certain features, like a fenced dog park, cannot be added, and the plan will not address the pool or tennis courts at this time.
