Watercolor Workshop for Absolute Beginners

Come explore watercolor painting while you create your own work of art.

Dream of painting in watercolor but afraid you won’t know where to begin? Perhaps you took a class once before and were completely overwhelmed. With the right instructor, painting with watercolor can be easier than you imagined. Since this is a beginners’ workshop you can now be comfortable while you learn. Best of all, you don’t need to bring anything! All supplies will be provided for use during the workshop. We should finish a complete painting (or two), ready for you to take home by the end of class. A supply fee of $9 must be paid to the instructor at the beginning of the workshop. Bring a sack lunch for a short break. Gold Card Fee: $34.50. Tuition: $49. Class meets on Saturday from 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM on February 13 at Vernon Hills High School. Registration is required. Register online through District 128’s Community Education Department at www.ComEd128.org, or call 847-247-4576 to register by phone.
