Woman Arrested For Battery In Libertyville

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A 29-year-old Waukegan woman was taken into custody earlier this month after police officers witnessed her kicking another person, authorities said. Sherlane A. Jones, of the 300 block of Lake Street in Waukegan, is charged with battery in connection with the police call.

At 9:34 p.m. on Nov. 5, officers responded to the 200 block of West Maple Avenue in Libertyville for a report of a disturbance. When they arrived, they allegedly saw Jones kicking another person.

Jones was taken to the Libertyville Police Department and released after signing a $1,500.00 personal recognizance bond. She is next expected in court on Nov. 15.
