Woman Faces DUI Charge After Crash

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A 30-year-old Waukegan woman faces drunken driving charges following a crash on Route 176 in Libertyville earlier this month, police said. Deandre Lee, of the 300 block of Westmoreland Avenue, was driving in the area of Route 176 and Third Street just before 11 p.m. on Aug. 15 when the single-vehicle crash occurred, according to a Libertyville Police Department report.

An officer noticed signs of impairment and Lee was taken into custody after completing field sobriety tests, according to a police report. She was taken to the Libertyville Police Department and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol.

She was released after signing a personal recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Sept. 4.
