Woman Taken to Hospital Following Attack at Libertyville Metra Station

A 46-year-old Mundelein woman was cited for battery after getting into a fight with another woman at the downtown Libertyville Metra station last month.

A witness told police Kelly L. Christian allegedly shook the other woman by her jacket after she “did not like what the other woman said,” according to a Libertyville Police Department report. She then threw the woman to the ground, police said.

The incident occurred at 7:45 p.m. on Nov. 20.

The victim was treated by Libertyville paramedics and transported to Condell Hospital.

Christian was processed and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond. She is expected in court on Dec. 12 at the Lake County Courthouse.
