Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group's Clark Street Office Partner with Salvation Army, Lakeview Nursing Rehab Center

Brokers and employees from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group’s Lincoln Park Clark Street office, in conjunction with the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation, volunteered at the Salvation Army Freedom Center and Lakeview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center during the company-wide Week of Kindness event. During the week, close to 500 Realtors® from 24 of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group offices volunteer time and services to organizations in their respective communities.
At the Salvation Army Freedom Center in Humboldt Park, KoenigRubloff agents created approximately 350 fruit cups, served lunch to close to 200 individuals and prepared bag lunches during their volunteer shift. Several days later, agents spent time at the award-winning Lakeview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center that provides short and long term care as well as rehabilitation services. KoenigRubloff agents played 35 rounds of Bingo with residents and the exceptionally friendly staff.
“Our Week of Kindness activities at the Salvation Army and Lakeview Nursing and Rehab left a big impression on the agents who participated, so much so that we are planning to work with them again in the near future,” Alan Zuber, Managing Broker of the Lincoln Park Clark Street office, said. He continued, “It just reminds us that a little kindness can go a long way and make a big impact in someone’s life.”
