Chicago, IL – The Lincoln Park Clybourn office, in conjunction with the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation, will hold a cat adoption and donations event for the Week of Kindness on June 13th from 12-3 pm at Petco located on 3118 N. Ashland Ave. The event benefits Tree House Cats, a Humane Society organization that strives to educate the public about proper and responsible animal care, with a focus on the care and placement of stray cats with special physical and emotional needs. Those that want to support the non-profit organization can donate money to help build the new facility that Tree House Cats is starting this June. The community is also invited to bring in an item or purchase physical items that Tree House can use for kittens, such as litter boxes, scales, food, toys, etc.

“Sadly many cats and kittens either are abandoned by their owners for various reasons or live in harsh environments or conditions,” said Darlene Little, Vice President and Managing Broker of the Lincoln office. “Tree House Cats and the Humane Society do incredible work for animals in need, and we really want to help. This will also be a great opportunity to interact with our community!”
