Board Game Cafe Coming To Chicago's North Side
The cafe will feature several hundred games to play.

CHICAGO, IL — After a successful crowdfunding campaign, Bonus Round Game Cafe is preparing to open in Lakeview over the next few weeks. The cafe will serve food, coffee, beer and wine, and offer games like Raiders of the North Sea and Settlers of Catan. The cafe will be opening at 3230 N. Clark St.
According to their website, Bonus Round Game Cafe co-owners Courtney Hartley and Drew Lovell are hoping to draw new board gamers and offer the neighborhood a place where people can interact without a louder bar scene drowning conversation.
"We love board games and believe in their power to bring people together and want to share that with as many people as possible! We strive to create a welcome environment for those not familiar to board games and to those who seek them out," read a post on the cafe's website. "Bonus Round Game Café will be a place where guests won’t feel judged for their lack of knowledge or skills, instead they come to our café for a little fun and encouragement."
