Cops Have More Unclaimed Property From Burglary Busts

Chicago Police continue to search for owners of laptops and cameras recovered from North Side burglaries.

Chicago Police still have some unclaimed items left over from a pair of 19th and 20th district burglary investigations.

Area North detectives recovered a bounty of unclaimed items, all believed to be stolen, including cameras, laptops and jewelry.

The investigation resulted in the arrest of two offenders, both of which were charged for multiple burglaries. Daunta Head was charged with four felony counts of burglary-residential, one felony count of burglary and three felony counts of theft. Patrice Banks was charged with three felony counts of theft and one misdemeanor count of theft.

Both appeared in bond court at 26th and California last month.

Last week, police invited the public to view, identify and claim their stolen property, but a few items still remain unclaimed. Police continue to seek their rightful owners

The stolen property was recovered from the area bounded by Fullerton Avenue on the south, Lake Michigan on the east, the Chicago River on the west and Peterson Avenue on the north. If you think this may be your stuff, call the Bureau of Detectives - Area North Property Crimes at 312-744-8263.
