PAWS Chicago Pet of the Week: Merle

Merle is a mellow, laid back guy who enjoys hanging out with his human friends, climbing to high places, and occasional head and chin scratches from those he loves. It doesn’t get much better than that, does it? Being the two-year-old and low-maintenance guy that he is, Merle isn’t particularly interested in cat toys… catnip mouse? Ho-hum. Jingle bell balls? No thanks. He does love using his cat scratcher though! Since Merle is FIV+, he will need a home either with another FIV+ kity, or where can be the only cat. Independent and sweet, Merle would love to find his ‘furever’ home this summer—can you give Merle a chance?
